Digital Assets Summer Internship – Early Careers Overview

Digital Assets Team Overview
Our team leads Invesco's global digital assets strategy, including tokenized funds, digital asset investment products, blockchain-enabled market infrastructure, and emerging onchain opportunities. Acting as a center of excellence across the firm, we partner with investment, distribution, technology, legal, compliance, and operations teams to bring innovative solutions to market. This internship will be located in our New York office.
What you’ll do:
Presentation & Documentation Support: Develop executive presentations, market insights, competitive analyses, and product materials that support strategic digital asset initiatives and senior leadership decision-making.
Idea Contribution: Share insights and suggestions during team meetings to enhance product offerings and improve processes.
Competitor Benchmarking: Conduct industry, market, and competitor research across tokenization, stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, digital asset managers, and asset servicers to identify trends and strategic opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across technology, investments, distribution, legal, compliance, risk, and operations to support product development and commercialization efforts.
Project Variety: Support high-impact projects related to tokenized funds, blockchain-enabled infrastructure, digital asset product development, client education, and strategic partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and be a Junior graduating by the summer of 2028
We welcome diverse academic backgrounds, with preference for:
Technology: Computer Science, Information Technology, Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), AI/Data Science
Business: Finance, Economics
Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
Demonstrated interest in digital assets, blockchain technology, and financial markets through coursework, research, student organizations, certifications, internships, personal projects, publications, or other relevant experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced functions) and PowerPoint
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational abilities, leadership qualities, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating initiative, adaptability, and ownership. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented
Must be able to work in Invesco's New York office
Preferred Qualifications
Digital assets or blockchain experience through internships, research projects, investment clubs, hackathons, coding projects, certifications, content creation, or other relevant activities strongly preferred.
Basic knowledge of mutual fund operations and capital markets
Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, or VBA is a plus
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
Understanding of AI applications (e.g., chatbots, predictive analytics)
Compensation for this position is $36/hr.
