Full job description

Our client, an industry leader in quality assurance and manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Quality Lab Technician to join their team. As a Quality Lab Technician, you will be an essential part of the quality assurance department supporting on-site inspection activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Rockledge, FL

Pay Range: $18.14-$30 based on experience

Shift: 11PM-7AM Sunday-Friday with some overtime!

What's the Job?

  • Perform final product inspections at the customer’s site to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilize measurement tools such as micrometers and Go/No-Go gages to verify critical dimensions accurately.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on finished products to identify any nonconformities.
  • Document inspection results precisely using company systems and formats.
  • Identify, segregate, and report nonconforming materials immediately to ensure quality integrity.

What's Needed?

  • Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in final inspection or at a customer site.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and Go/No-Go gages.
  • Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.
