Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across our patient-centered care settings. In this role, you will perform complex ultrasound exams, oversee daily workflow, and serve as a clinical resource for a team of sonographers. You will coordinate scheduling and room utilization, support image quality and safety standards, and collaborate closely with radiologists and providers to ensure accurate, timely diagnoses. The Lead Sonographer also mentors staff, supports orientation and ongoing education, and helps drive quality improvement in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
