Full job description

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and team leadership in a patient-centered environment. In this role, you will perform complex ultrasound exams, ensure image quality, and support accurate clinical decision-making. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor and precept sonographers, and promote adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, you’ll contribute to continuous quality improvement while supporting Wellstar’s mission of compassionate, community-focused care.
