Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital, which features diverse treatment areas tailored for various rehabilitation needs. Key Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions as prescribed by physical therapists, ensuring high-quality and technically proficient care.
• Guide and educate patients on proper exercises, functional training techniques, and therapeutic modalities tailored to their rehabilitation journey.
• Evaluate patient needs by conducting routine assessments and identifying individual goals, providing empathetic support throughout their treatment experience.
• Modify treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback to optimize recovery and enhance comfort.
• Stay informed about the latest research in physical therapy and rehabilitation practices to apply evidence-based approaches in patient care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation reflecting patient progress, treatment plans, and care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment progress and strategize on patient care plans.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and legal standards in all aspects of practice.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by pursuing continued education opportunities to refine skills and expand knowledge in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including post-surgical individuals, those recovering from injuries, and clients with chronic physical conditions. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or equivalent certification is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or a related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and best practices in rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively instruct and motivate patients.
• Proficient in healthcare documentation and administrative practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and postural training.
• Familiarity with assistive devices and modalities used in rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
