Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to their unique needs.
- Assist physical therapists in implementing interventions that may include therapeutic exercises, stretching routines, hands-on treatment techniques, and the use of specialized equipment.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, expected recovery outcomes, and techniques for integrating exercises into daily routines.
- Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting and modifying care plans as necessary to ensure optimum recovery trajectories.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses—to ensure cohesive patient care and recovery strategies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on physical therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license, which is required upon employment.
- Completion of PTA AS (Associate of Science) or PTA AA (Associate of Arts) program is mandatory.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
