Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2480 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Daily parking costs $15+/day. On- and off-campus garages and lots offer monthly parking passes ranging from $95 - $120.

Required Skills/Experience: Basic EKG experience and the ability to interpret telemetry strips are required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 3+ years of experience and prior experience in a very busy hospital are preferred. Charge experience is preferred but not required.

Unit Details: Provides backup coverage for neurology, stroke, and neurosurgery, including 2-4 beds for Candida auris patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift hours: 7a-7p; clinicians must arrive 15 min early for shift change. Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Holidays are rotated with permanent staff. Clinicians must be flexible with scheduling; self-scheduling is not available.

Floating Requirements: Clinicians are first to float. Clinicians must be open to floating; floating assignments require cardiac drip experience.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days. Maximum consecutive days off: 5

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
