Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1770 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: IV start skills are required. NGT placement skills are required. Wound care skills are required. Cardiac rhythm skills are required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation skills are preferred.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details: Unit equipment and clinical resources include wound vacs, heparin drips, suction, IV pumps, glucometers, bladder scanners, feeding pumps, and telemetry. Procedures performed on the unit include lab draws and IV starts.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required.

Floating Requirements: The clinician will float between 2 North and 2 West.
