Work Environment

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in the execution of tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches under direct supervision, focusing on pain management and physical well-being.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and effective exercise techniques to support ongoing recovery efforts.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, ensuring compliance with prescribed treatment protocols.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.
• Prepare treatment areas by sanitizing equipment and organizing necessary supplies, ensuring a conducive environment for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care strategies that benefit overall patient outcomes and experiences.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
