Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2160 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Work environment includes 2 unit secretaries from 0600-2200 daily and patient care tech support at all times; tech coverage varies with census. Uses telemetry in each room with station monitors, Dynamaps, glucometers, iMobile phones, a bladder scanner, and an advanced call light system. Procedures performed on unit include PICC line removal and vas cath/temp cath removal.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays required. Self-scheduling within guidelines.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
