RN Trauma Nurse Lead

Doctors Hospital of Augusta seeks an experienced RN Trauma Nurse Lead to coordinate care in our Level II trauma center. The Lead oversees patient flow, triage, and evidence-based trauma interventions while supporting a culture of safety and collaboration. Responsibilities include supervising bedside nurses, mentoring new staff, participating in trauma activations, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards. The role partners closely with physicians, EMS, and ancillary teams, contributes to performance improvement initiatives, leads debriefs, and assists with staff education to deliver high-quality, patient-centered trauma care.
