Full job description

Responsibilities:
Perform testing and analysis of products utilizing measurement fixtures/gages/equipment. Understand customer, ASTM and other testing requirements and implement successfully.
Identify suspect product and disposition accordingly. Communicate findings to appropriate personnel and assist in problem solving & continuous improvement.
Develop PPAP data and related forms. Provide necessary support to Quality Engineering.
Perform gauge R&Rs to reduce variability in measurement devices.
Maintain & improve 5S conditions in the lab.
Develop and maintain close working relationships between cells/departments to promote exchange of ideas.
Ability to read/interpret blueprints in English & Metric including basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Perform basic statistical analysis.
MS office proficiency including use of Minitab.
Must be willing to work extra hours if needed.
Qualifications:
Equivalent lab experience
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required
