Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, age-appropriate physical therapy to pediatric patients, collaborating under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans that target specific goals in strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and confidence.
• Utilize engaging, play-based methods to encourage children’s participation in therapy activities, making each session enjoyable and productive.
• Regularly document each child's progress and maintain clear communication with the supervising PT to adapt treatment as needed.
• Work directly with families and caregivers, providing them with the necessary tools and strategies to support ongoing therapy goals at home.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure or legal eligibility for licensure in the state of California as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
