Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay Range: $18 per hour

Shift: 5:45am–6:00pm, rotating 2-2-3 schedule (every other weekend required)

What's the Job?

• Operate and monitor machine cycles
• Manually restart machines after each run, ensuring continuous operation
• Safely handle plastic rolls using a control arm, avoiding heavy lifting
• Maintain production rates and ensure steady workflow
• Follow all safety and quality standards to ensure a safe working environment

What's Needed?

• Strong and consistent work history with no significant gaps (resume required)
• Excellent attendance record; reliability is critical
• Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts
• Attention to detail and ability to keep up with production pace
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule including weekends
