Position Overview:

We are recruiting a Psychiatrist on a PRN basis to assist in patient management within our inpatient units. This role offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry, with all subspecialties welcome and new grads encouraged to apply .

Position Highlights

  • Setting: Inpatient adult psychiatry and detox services

  • Census: Average 15 patients per day

  • Support: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner support based on census

  • Team Culture: Multidisciplinary and mission-driven

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in an inpatient setting.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a compassionate and professional manner.

  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and clinical supervision as needed.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.

  • Active CO medical license or ability to obtain one.

  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
