Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2390 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 1 year recent med-surg nursing experience in a large hospital setting with 250+ beds is required. Travel experience, including successful completion of an assignment, is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with neuro patients is preferred, but not required.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. If previously employed by Sanford Health, employment must have ended 6 months prior to the submission date.

Unit Details: Equipment includes Omnicell and Alaris IV pumps. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 4-5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday. Open to straight days and rotating shifts if preferred. There is no certain timeframe for rotation; clinicians might work 3 weeks of days, then 3 weeks of nights, in one schedule cycle, and all days or all nights in the next schedule cycle, depending on unit needs. When balancing the schedule, staff are not frequently flipped back and forth from days to nights.

Floating Requirements: Primary unit will be 6AB, but will be expected to float to any med/surg unit at any of the 3 Sanford Medical Centers in Fargo.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
