Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2150 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 18 months.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers are welcomed, but must have at least 12 months of pediatric experience.

Special Requests: Any past UPH employee, whether an FTE or PRN employee of the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH rather than as an FTE or PRN employee, the separation policy does not apply.

Unit Details: Patient population includes pediatric hematology/oncology, medical-surgical, and all pediatric specialties.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Every 3rd weekend. Unless the unit is closed, the contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).

Floating Requirements: May float across ED boarders, PICU, NICU, pediatric oncology/hematology, B4 hematology/oncology, and the pediatric emergency department when needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
