Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2070 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 24 months of med surg/medical surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting. - Strong heparin experience. - Post-op/operative surgical experience. - Spine care experience.

Special Requests: - Any past employee of UPH, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or have worked there within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH, the separation policy does not apply.

Unit Details: - Patient types include med surg and post-op/spine. - Heparin drips are used on the unit.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every third weekend. - No call. - Unless the unit is closed, required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays.

Floating Requirements: - Traveler will be required to float across campuses and units when scheduled, including Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
