Position Overview
Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a passionate and skilled Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated healthcare team in Cape Coral, Florida. This full-time position requires an individual who is committed to delivering exceptional care and support to patients through their rehabilitation journey. As a PTA, you will work collaboratively with licensed Physical Therapists to execute tailored therapeutic treatment plans, assisting patients in regaining mobility, strength, and overall function.

Work Environment
Our rehabilitation clinic is located onsite within a state-of-the-art hospital, providing a supportive and dynamic environment for both patients and staff. At Gotham Enterprises, our workspace encourages teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration, allowing for optimal patient care. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, while flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs and clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on enhancing mobility and strength.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretching regimens, and activities designed to promote physical well-being and mitigate discomfort.
- Educate patients on effective body mechanics, exercise techniques, and develop home exercise programs to aid in their recovery process.
- Administer therapeutic modalities including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including tracking range of motion, strength improvements, and overall functional gains.
- Prepare treatment areas efficiently and ensure that all equipment and supplies are organized and readily accessible for therapy sessions.
- Foster relationships with patients and provide emotional support, creating a positive and motivating rehabilitation environment.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to synchronize patient care for improved outcomes.
- Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respectful care.

The patient population at our facility includes a diverse range of individuals, from pediatric clients recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients requiring rehabilitation after surgery or health events. Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Possess a valid state license or certification allowing practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and applicable therapeutic interventions within physical therapy.
- Exhibit proficiency in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance and direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with patients and effective collaboration with team members.
- Adopt a compassionate, patient-centered approach with a sincere commitment to guiding patients towards their rehabilitation goals.
- Adapt treatment methods to accommodate various patient populations, adjusting plans as needed to meet individual requirements.
- Display detail-oriented skills alongside strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a rehabilitation environment, particularly with diverse patient populations and a variety of therapeutic interventions, is preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation processes will enhance the candidate's effectiveness in this role.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 50,000 and 65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
