Work Environment

The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, aligning with normal business hours, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans as directed by the physical therapist, applying therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Administer exercises and hands-on therapy interventions to help patients regain mobility and strength.
• Educate and counsel patients on exercises and wellness techniques to encourage participation in their recovery process.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and progress in accordance with health care regulations and facility policies to maintain accurate medical records.
• Utilize the latest evidence-based practices to inform your approach in rehabilitation therapies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and progress.
• Maintain the highest ethical standards in practice, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Thrive & Flourish, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, accident injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will involve providing compassionate care to patients of all ages, tailoring rehabilitation protocols to meet their unique physical capabilities and goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or relevant certification is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
• Hands-on competency in various therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient assessment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
