Pro Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Lakeland, Florida. Work Environment

Located in the heart of Lakeland, Florida, our hospital-based rehabilitation clinic offers a supportive and collaborative setting for healthcare professionals. This onsite position entails working directly with patients to assist with their rehabilitation journeys. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, promoting physical well-being and alleviating pain.
  • Educate patients about proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise regimens to support their recovery.
  • Administer treatment modalities—such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy—under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall functionality.
  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and accessible for therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Provide emotional support and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation process, contributing to a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
  • Adhere strictly to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respecting their rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Pro Therapy Services, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
