Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.

Required Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience is required. Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor. Fuji Vidistar.

Preferred Skills/Experience: MAC Lab.

Required Credentials: If you have RCIS, state license is not required.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Performs diagnostic and interventional coronary cath, diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures, angioplasty, shockwave, temporary pacer, IABP, Impella, carotid angiogram, atherectomy, IVUS, FFR/IFR, pericardiocentesis, and cardiac biopsies. Daily caseload is around 20-25 cases per day across 4 to 5 labs, with 2-3 CVTs per lab.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift end time may vary until procedures are complete. Call required: one weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) per 7 weeks and a call shift and evening shift every week. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs. Holidays as needed.

Special Requests: RTO is due at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holiday RTO will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November; peak August-September). If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
