Full job description

Deaconess Kentucky Specialty Clinic seeking a Pain Management Physician to join a growing, well-supported pain program in Hopkinsville, KY. This position offers a strong guaranteed salary, tiered productivity incentives, APP support, and the opportunity to build a long-term, sustainable practice within a physician-led health system.

Compensation & Benefits:
• Year 1 guaranteed base salary: $550,000
• Sign-on bonus: $50,000 (forgivable loan over 5 years)
• 5-year contract with automatic annual renewal
• Comprehensive benefits package
• Retirement plans: 401(k), 457(b), and 457(f) with employer contribution
• CME: 5 days + $3,500 annual stipend
• $1,500 annual CME technology allowance
• $60/month cell phone stipend
• Malpractice insurance provided
• Licensing, DEA, and board fees covered
• Mileage reimbursement
• Relocation assistance: $15,000

Practice Setting:
This outpatient-focused pain management role includes:
• Employed position with Deaconess KY Specialty Clinic
• Established referral base within Deaconess network
• APP support with supervision compensation
• Modern clinic space with state-of-the-art equipment
• Epic EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Opportunity to participate in program growth and service line development

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
• Perform interventional pain procedures consistent with training
• Collaborate with APPs, primary care, and specialty providers
• Participate in quality initiatives and department goals
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Call Responsibilities:
• Full-time, clinic-based schedule
• Call expectations: to be discussed (flexible based on coverage model)

Qualifications:
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management
• Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
