Overview
We are seeking skilled and motivated engineers to support the development, installation, and deployment of Ship Control Systems for U.S. Navy nuclear‑powered submarines across multiple classes. Candidates will join a highly specialized engineering team responsible for delivering systems that are critical to the safe and successful operation of the fleet. Our system drives the boat, and your work will directly support its mission readiness.

We are seeking skilled and motivated engineers to support the development, installation, and deployment of Ship Control Systems for U.S. Navy nuclear‑powered submarines across multiple classes. Candidates will join a highly specialized engineering team responsible for delivering systems that are critical to the safe and successful operation of the fleet. Our system drives the boat, and your work will directly support its mission readiness.
Key Focus Teams
- Systems Engineering: Concept development, requirements definition, interface management, and hardware software integration.
- Analysis and Modeling: Model development, large scale simulation, and data analysis.
- Hardware Development and Qualification: Component selection and design, electronic packaging, vendor management, procurement, and environmental qualification testing.
- Lab: Developing simulation hardware and software in support of system certifications
- Test: Development and execution of software and system test procedures.
- Submarine Integration and Certification: Support implementation of system components aboard the submarine and assist in certification activities.
- Fleet Support: Troubleshoot delivered ship control systems and support the deployment of updated software and hardware.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of Sciene degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Physics
- 0-5 years of post-graduate engineering experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the Department of Defense
Preferred:
- Experience with design or operation of U.S. Navy electronic systems, including fly by wire control systems.
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electronic systems.
- Experience with real time embedded system development.
- Control system analysis and modeling experience.
- Understanding of DoD cybersecurity analysis and implementation practices.
- Familiarity with engineering and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
- Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink.
- Proficiency with UNREAL engine.
- Experience developing or integrating AI/ML solutions
Skills
- Ability to follow established engineering policies and procedures while performing complex technical assignments.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, develop project plans, and ensure timely and on‑budget delivery of engineering work.
- Strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, collaborative, cross‑functional teams, and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to present design status and timelines in project reviews.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and drive corrective actions.
