Experience:

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Must meet at least one of the following: minimum of two (2) years post-technical school radiology work experience or minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Special Procedures Technologist. - Must meet at least one of the following: successful completion of on-the-job training within six (6) months of hire or six (6) months’ recent experience (within the past two (2) years) as a Special Procedures Technologist. - Experience with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - IR experience preferred.
Required Credentials: - High school graduate or GED. - Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program. - Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. - If you have RCIS, state license is not required.
Unit Details: - Diagnostic peripheral procedures/venograms include aortagram procedures (LE, UE, and visceral), carotid procedures, and AV fistula procedures. - Interventional peripheral procedures/venograms include aortagram procedures (LE, UE, and visceral), carotid procedures, AV fistula procedures, embolization, IVC filters, lytics, dialysis, Quinton cath, TIPS, PICC, and biopsy. - Nonvascular procedures include drains, G/J tubes, kidney tubes, and THC biliary procedures. - The technologist scrubs, circulates, and monitors and records hemodynamic parameters during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. - The role includes assisting physicians with contrast media administration for arterial, venous, and percutaneous procedures. - The role includes assisting and scrubbing with vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists in the operating room as needed. - Lead apron use is required.
Shift & Scheduling: - 8-hour shifts are standard; 10-hour shifts may be considered. - Possible shift windows are 07a-330p, 08a-430p, and 09a-530p. - On-call is required in rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
