WHAT IS BOX?

Box (NYSE:BOX) is the leader in Intelligent Content Management. Our platform enables organizations to fuel collaboration, manage the entire content lifecycle, secure critical content, and transform business workflows with enterprise AI. We help companies thrive in the new AI-first era of business. Founded in 2005, Box simplifies work for leading global organizations, including JLL, Morgan Stanley, and Nationwide. Box is headquartered in Redwood City, CA, with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

By joining Box, you will have the unique opportunity to continue driving our platform forward. Content powers how we work. It’s the billions of files and information flowing across teams, departments, and key business processes every single day: contracts, invoices, employee records, financials, product specs, marketing assets, and more. Our mission is to bring intelligence to the world of content management and empower our customers to completely transform workflows across their organizations. With the combination of AI and enterprise content, the opportunity has never been greater to transform how the world works together and at Box you will be on the front lines of this massive shift.

WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

Box is the Content Cloud—empowering every person and business to securely manage the entire content lifecycle. Our Global Go-To-Market Strategy & Sales Compensation team ensures our sellers are motivated, rewarded accurately, and focused on what matters most: delivering for our customers.

We’re hiring a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to own the monthly mechanics of variable compensation—turning complex data into precise payouts and actionable insights. You’ll be the go-to partner for commissions accuracy, working across Salesforce, Workday, and Excel models to support global GTM teams. Your rigor and attention to detail will directly impact seller trust, revenue operations cadence, and leadership decision-making.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own end-to-end monthly commission calculations, validations, and approvals across global GTM roles with zero-defect execution

  • Aggregate and reconcile data from Salesforce, Workday, and other sources; build and maintain robust Excel models (advanced functions, complex lookups, error checks)

  • Manage monthly run-the-business workflows, timelines, and stakeholder communications with Commissions, Finance, and GTM leaders

  • Partner with GTM Strategy, Finance, and Commissions to troubleshoot exceptions, resolve data discrepancies, and document decisions

  • Build and iterate forecast and scenario models to support planning cycles, quota changes, and new-hire ramp assumptions

  • Calculate new-hire quotas and proration logic; coordinate with People/HR and Sales Ops to ensure timely set-up and policy alignment

  • Create clear reporting and audit trails; standardize processes, controls, and SOPs for scale and repeatability

  • Contribute to continuous improvement—identify automation opportunities, streamline handoffs, and uplevel data quality

  • Document processes and policies related to Rules of Engagement for the GTM teams.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3+ years in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or related analytics roles

  • Advanced Excel expertise (e.g., INDEX/MATCH/XLOOKUP, nested logic, pivot tables, complex data modeling, error handling). SQL familiarity a plus

  • Proven experience reconciling and transforming large datasets from CRM/HRIS/Financial systems (Salesforce and Workday experience strongly preferred)

  • Meticulous attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate payouts under tight monthly deadlines

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams

  • Process-first mindset with the ability to document, standardize, and improve recurring workflows

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Nice to have: experience with commissions platforms, quota/proration logic, or financial modeling for GTM planning
