Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will perform a variety of crucial tasks, including:

• Administering direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, according to prescribed treatment plans.
• Documenting patient progress and submitting required records and reports in accordance with departmental policies and state regulations.
• Maintaining comprehensive progress notes and discharge summaries to track patient outcomes accurately.
• Responding to emergencies by following established procedures to enhance patient safety and care.
• Engaging in departmental quality improvement activities to uphold the highest standards of care.
• Participating in family conferences, providing updates and support concerning patient management and progress.
• Conducting ongoing education of patients about treatment and therapeutic exercises to foster better health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist Assistant will predominantly work with individuals undergoing rehabilitation from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications
