Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: - Nurse-patient ratio 4-5:1 on days and 5-6:1 on nights. - Wide medical patient population including GI bleeds, sepsis, cellulitis, CHF, COVID, comfort measures, osteomyelitis, elderly fall patients, DVT, and pulmonary embolisms; patients may return to the unit after surgery or procedures. - RNs titrate heparin drips only. - No vents; patients may require oxygen up to 6L NC and stable BiPAP/CPAP at night or PRN. - Telemetry is monitored remotely via the house-wide telemetry department; unit equipment is primarily Phillips. - RNs are expected to attempt IV starts and utilize unit resources if unsuccessful; inpatient phlebotomy team is used for blood draws.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend (Fri/Sat for nights). - Holidays rotated. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Travel RNs are first to float as needed to other med/surg-like units; no ICU floating and no chemo patients.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
