We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic III to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of production equipment and facility systems. Your expertise will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting a safe, efficient manufacturing operation.

Job Requirements

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes to prevent recurring issues.
  • Maintain motors, conveyor systems, production machinery, and pneumatic tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure equipment operates safely and complies with applicable safety standards.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.


Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday | 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require.

ITAR

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

What your background should look like

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in:
    • Mechanical systems
    • Electrical systems (low and high voltage)
    • Hydraulic systems
    • Pneumatic systems
    • Electronic controls
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial workplace safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or vocational training in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Knowledge of automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement and preventative maintenance programs.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $52,600- $78,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
