Perinatal Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging for obstetric and high-risk pregnancy patients. In this role, you will perform detailed perinatal and fetal anatomy scans, biophysical profiles, and Doppler studies using advanced ultrasound technology. You will collaborate closely with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, OB/GYNs, and nurses, contributing critical images and preliminary observations to support diagnosis and care planning. Responsibilities include obtaining thorough patient histories, explaining procedures, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and infection-control standards. You will document exams in the EMR and participate in quality initiatives, continuing education, and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
