Full job description
Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer to join our patient-centered imaging team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will perform diagnostic breast ultrasound exams and assist with image-guided biopsies, ensuring high-quality imaging and compassionate care. You will verify orders, obtain patient histories, and optimize ultrasound protocols while collaborating closely with radiologists, nurses, and technologists. The sonographer upholds safety and infection control standards, documents exams accurately, and participates in ongoing education and quality initiatives within our collaborative, community-focused health system.
