Heartland Hospice, part of ProMedica, is seeking a Hospice Medical Director to lead and oversee medical care for hospice and palliative patients in home and facility settings. The Medical Director provides clinical leadership, certifies hospice eligibility, manages complex symptoms, and ensures high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life care. Responsibilities include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, developing and reviewing care plans, mentoring hospice clinicians, ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance, and communicating closely with patients, families, and referring providers to support comfort, dignity, and informed decision-making.
