As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve in partner public schools to help students build academic skills, confidence, and social-emotional strengths. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring, support classroom instruction, and help track student progress. You’ll collaborate with educators, participate in training and coaching, and engage families. City Year offers a collaborative, inclusive culture focused on social justice, leadership development, and professional growth while you make a meaningful impact in students’ lives.
