Full job description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing complex electro-mechanical equipment, is seeking a Production Technician to join their team. As a Production Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to the assembly and handling of robotic components and materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Title: Production Technician

Location: North Reading, MA

Pay Range: $18.41

Shift: 6:00am to 3:00pm Mon to Fri

What's the Job?

  • Support the production of complex electro-mechanical equipment through assembly and material handling
  • Study assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to prepare work
  • Move, stage, and deliver materials and components to workstations using equipment like pallet jacks and carts
  • Assist with inventory management, labeling, and organization of production parts
  • Perform quality inspections and document actions accurately in production systems

What's Needed?

  • Ability to stand for 7+ hours per shift
  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
  • Read and follow instructions in English
  • Experience with handheld scanners and basic computer use
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and work in a mechanical environment
