About High Road Automotive

High Road Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Seattle, WA, offering up to $39/hour with $70,000–$95,000 annual earning potential. This Monday–Friday position has no weekends and offers hourly pay instead of flat rate, plus 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage. The role is ideal for an A-Level Technician or strong B-Level Technician ready to stay hands-on with advanced diagnostics while helping less-experienced technicians tackle difficult problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns
• Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
• Perform advanced repairs, including engine and transmission swaps as needed
• Help less-experienced technicians with difficult diagnostic concerns
• Provide occasional Service Advisor backup when needed

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional automotive repair experience required
• A-Level experience preferred; strong B-Level Technicians considered
• Strong automotive diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to independently solve difficult vehicle concerns
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required
• Lead technician or mentoring experience is a plus
