Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2040 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Credentials: - High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. - Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization. Only 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests: - Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. - In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Unit Details: - Respiratory care includes evaluation and treatment of patients with respiratory insufficiencies, advanced respiratory care modalities, and response to emergency resuscitation team codes. - Patient care areas include pediatric and adult trauma and burn care, adult medical, trauma/neuro, burn, cardiovascular critical care, and emergency department units.

Shift & Scheduling: - On-call and callback responsibilities apply.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
