Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2-3 years of experience in the specialty. Must be able to read and interpret telemetry.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Holiday RTO will be considered; however, it cannot be guaranteed.

Unit Details: There is no dedicated telemetry; portable telemetry boxes are available if needed, and monitor technicians are available. Patient population includes medical and postoperative/surgical patients. Hospitalist coverage is in-house 24/7. No IV team is available. The unit does not manage ventilated patients. Respiratory therapy and pharmacy coverage are available 24/7.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule. Holidays are worked into the permanent staff rotation.

Floating Requirements: This assignment is first to float. May float to Telemetry at a 1:4 ratio and may also float between medical-surgical floors.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
