Float Pool Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse Float Pool at MedStar Health, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple inpatient units within a leading not-for-profit regional health system. In this flexible role, you’ll float to areas such as medical-surgical, step-down, and specialty units based on real-time staffing and patient acuity, caring for diverse populations and conditions.
You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and treatments, document accurately in the EHR, and respond promptly to changing patient conditions. Collaborating closely with physicians and an interprofessional care team, you will help develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate discharges, and support patients and families through education and advocacy.
