Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Title: Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Join a dedicated team in a state-of-the-art facility located in picturesque Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This opportunity offers a collaborative practice environment with 8-hour shifts and a flexible locum-to-perm conversion timeline at six months. The facility is equipped with 9 main operating rooms and 5 endoscopy rooms, providing care primarily through general surgical and anesthesia services for both adult and pediatric patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases including general, pediatric, and obstetrical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient vitals throughout anesthesia administration.
• Document procedures and patient interactions using Meditech Expanse EMR.
• Participate in emergency situations as needed while maintaining a safe environment.
• Assist in the management of pain management cases.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified (AANA) - Required
• ACLS and BLS certifications - Required
• Active Massachusetts state license or willingness to obtain - Required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; new graduates are also welcome to apply.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current state license in Massachusetts
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
