About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN at Berrien Oaks Nursing and Rehab, you will be responsible for providing top-quality care to our residents. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services, and we are seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Provide education and support to residents and their families
• Ensure compliance with established nursing standards and regulations

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse LPN license in the state of Georgia
• Current CPR certification
• Compassion and empathy towards elderly residents
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Prior experience in a nursing home or long-term care facility is preferred but not required

Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
