JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Hours: 6a-2:30p; Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations required

  • Operating Room Readiness - Review daily surgical schedules and prepare supplies, equipment, and anesthesia work areas to support patient care. Ensure equipment is available, functional, and ready for use.

  • Communication - Build positive working relationships with anesthesia providers, surgical teams, and colleagues. Respond promptly to requests and communicate important information to support efficient operations.

  • Clinical Assisting - Assist anesthesia providers during patient care activities, including preparing equipment and supplies, setting up airway and IV-related equipment, supporting patient positioning, and assembling required devices and materials during procedures.

  • Supply & Equipment Management - Maintain anesthesia supplies, materials, and equipment within procedural and anesthetizing locations. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use.

  • Continuous Improvement - Participate in department quality and improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve processes, contribute ideas, assist with implementation efforts, and support data collection activities as needed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
