Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic orthopedic outpatient team at Personal Touch Physical Therapy Group in Campbell, California.   • Schedule: Monday to Friday, with shift options of either 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed therapeutic exercises and carefully monitor patients’ progress to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Assist with manual therapy techniques while guiding patients in the use of rehabilitation equipment, ensuring safety and efficacy.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment plans, including at-home exercises to enhance recovery outside of therapy sessions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, adjusting therapy plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with physical therapists and other healthcare providers to optimize treatment outcomes across varied case presentations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be primarily on orthopedic patients, ranging from post-operative individuals to those managing chronic conditions affecting their mobility. You will work directly with a diverse client base, young and old, helping them overcome physical challenges through tailored rehabilitation efforts. This role emphasizes not only physical restoration but also emotional support as you guide patients through their recovery pathways.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited program.
  • Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of California.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, providing you with a solid foundation in this specialty.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure seamless documentation and patient interactions.
  • A strong practical background in manual therapy techniques that enhances overall treatment effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits
