Position Overview

Empower Concierge Rehab and PT is seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in LaBelle, Florida. As a PTA, you will play a crucial role in delivering specialized rehabilitative care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Your work will primarily involve assisting patients in regaining their strength, mobility, and overall independence following surgeries, injuries, or managing chronic conditions. This full-time position offers a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans established by the supervising physical therapist, tailoring your approach to meet the specific goals of each patient.
  • Document patient interactions and progress meticulously, ensuring that any changes in patient condition or response to therapy are communicated promptly to the supervising therapist.
  • Instruct patients in proper exercise techniques and activities of daily living, emphasizing safety and effectiveness to promote a faster recovery.
  • Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout treatment sessions, addressing any concerns or discomfort with immediate and appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care plans that maximize patient outcomes and share updates on patient progress.
  • Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and hospital policies, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with vary widely, encompassing individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, cardiac rehabilitation, neurological illnesses, or acute injuries. Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.

Compensation and Benefits
