Position Overview
Strive Force Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in LaBelle, Florida. Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring timely updates to supervising Physical Therapists regarding patient response to therapy.
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home exercise programs to promote long-term wellness.
- Encourage and motivate patients during their rehabilitation processes, demonstrating empathy and support at every stage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment that fosters a positive experience for both staff and patients.
- Actively participate in team meetings, providing input and updates on patient care as necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those suffering from chronic pain, and individuals with sports-related injuries. You will work closely with patients of all ages, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and rehabilitation goals. By fostering strong patient relationships and understanding their challenges, you will enhance their overall therapy experience.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Florida or eligibility for licensure.
- A graduate of an accredited PTA program with a solid foundation in physical therapy principles.
- A strong focus or interest in orthopedic physical therapy practices.
- Proficiency in performing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging between $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience and performance. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, and generous paid time off (PTO) along with holiday leave.
