Full job description

High Country Line Construction seeks an Estimator II to develop detailed cost estimates and competitive bids for transmission, distribution, and substation projects. You will analyze drawings, specifications, and field data to produce accurate takeoffs, solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing, and build complete proposals for utility and energy clients. Working closely with project managers and field leaders, you’ll validate means and methods, assess risk, and support budget handoff after award. This role blends office-based estimating with occasional site visits, contributing directly to safe, reliable power infrastructure.
