Well Resolve Therapy Assist Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, California. Work Environment
In your role as a PTA, you will be immersed in a vibrant workplace that is both challenging and rewarding. The therapy team operates onsite at our modern hospital facility, equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and resources. The clinic operates primarily Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a steady, manageable patient volume that averages 1 to 2 patients per hour, allowing for personalized, quality care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement therapy services that have been delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to best practices in the application of therapeutic modalities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, obtaining necessary approvals from referring physicians to ensure a collaborative healthcare approach.
- Conduct thorough chart reviews and interpret the physical therapist’s evaluations to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each patient's treatment history and goals.
- Exercise keen judgment and detailed knowledge of various physical therapy procedures, facilitating interventions that prioritize patient safety and efficacy.
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and necessary changes in our electronic health record system, maintaining accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Communicate effectively with both patients and interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding patient needs, progress, and challenges, actively contributing to discussions focused on patient outcomes.
- Guide patients’ families and nursing staff in executing maintenance programs and caregiver training, preparing for effective patient discharge from therapy services.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Well Resolve Therapy, you will work primarily with outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Your role is vital in helping these patients regain mobility and strength, guiding them through tailored rehabilitation exercises and activities that align with their specific recovery trajectories.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- A current and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in California.
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment techniques and treatment modalities typically used in outpatient orthopedic therapy.
- Excellent communication skills that facilitate effective interactions with patients, healthcare staff, and families.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- A genuine commitment to delivering compassionate patient care that encourages healing and rehabilitation.
Preferred Experience
- At least two years of relevant experience, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings, will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
