Construction Superintendent, Field Operations
Location: Topeka, KS (Single primary job site)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000 to $135,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities
Take full ownership of field operations and lead construction projects from planning through successful completion.
Must-Haves
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent
- Strong command of project drawings, specifications, and scope of work
- Experience managing subcontractors, crews, and project schedules
- Commitment to jobsite safety and PPE compliance
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to commute to or relocate to the Topeka, KS area
What You'll Do
- Lead daily construction field operations and coordinate internal and external crews
- Partner with the Project Manager to build and maintain the project schedule and stay on budget
- Complete daily field reports, two-week look-ahead schedules, and safety reports
- Serve as the main field contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Coordinate change orders and maintain quality control
- Identify ways to improve efficiency and accelerate the schedule
- Keep Project Managers and ownership informed on progress and potential delays
- Ensure crews are trained and properly equipped to work safely
- Build strong client relationships by meeting and exceeding owner expectations

Compensation and Benefits
