Full job description

ASD Special Education Teacher Contract position offering up to $58 per hour. Provide specialized instruction and support for elementary students with autism spectrum disorder. Work a 36-week contract in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive special education services to elementary students within the classroom setting.

  • Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment to support student growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • MI Special education teacher license.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in special education teaching.

  • Ability to work day shift.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Experience supporting elementary level students.

  • Background check compliant.
