About Pit Shop Auto Repair

Pit Shop Auto Repair is seeking an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician in Libertyville, IL who wants to stay productive, focus on repairs, and keep developing their diagnostic skills.

You’ll have a 30-hour weekly guarantee, experienced technicians around you, advanced diagnostic equipment, and dedicated company training. Parts ordering is handled by the Parts Manager or Service Advisor so you can stay focused on the vehicles in your bay.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs
• Complete repairs independently based on your skill level
• Perform vehicle inspections and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
• Document findings and recommended repairs accurately
• Maintain quality while working efficiently in a flat-rate environment
• Communicate repair findings with the service team
• Follow established shop procedures and workflow

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• B-Level Automotive Technician experience
• Strong general repair skills
• Diagnostic, drivability, and electrical troubleshooting experience
• Ability to complete repairs independently
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment
• ASE certifications preferred but not required
