Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2160 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year Med Surg, inpatient only.

Special Requests: Blocked scheduling (no specific days) may be approved based on facility requirements. RTO of 5 days or less must be made up on the back end. Holiday RTO: Only 1 request per assignment.

Unit Details: Patient population is medical and includes all age groups, including patients after trauma, surgical interventions, and with medical comorbidities. Equipment includes a bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, and wound vacs.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Weekend hours are as required by the facility, including every other weekend. No call. Night shift orients on day shift; the traveler must be available the entire week for orientation.

Floating Requirements: Floats as needed to a similar- or lower-acuity unit.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
